These terms apply to bookings made with Bravo Bike Madrid for city bike tours and bike rentals. By making a reservation with us, you agree to the conditions below.

Payments
We accept the following payment methods: Credit / debit card (Visa, Mastercard, 4B), Cash, Bank transfer.
Please note that card payments may be subject to a 2% surcharge. Unless otherwise stated, full payment is due before the service begins.
CITY TOURS
This section applies to Madrid city bike tours, private tours, team building tours and day trips from Madrid.
Reservations
Advance booking is strongly recommended, especially on weekends, holidays and during high season.
Bookings can be made through: WhatsApp, Our website, Email and phone.
All full-day and city tours require a minimum number of participants. Private tours are available from 1 person. For groups of more than 10 people, please contact us directly for availability and special discounts.
To help us prepare the correct bikes, please include rider heights and any special requirements when booking.
Tour Languages
Shared tours normally operate in English.
Depending on the group composition, tours may also be bilingual (English / Spanish).
Private tours may be available in additional languages on request, including French, German, Italian and others, subject to guide availability.

Please arrive 15 minutes before departure time. Late arrivals may miss the tour and may be treated as a no-show.
Participation Requirements
Participants must be able to ride a bicycle confidently and safely.
You should be comfortable with:
- Starting and stopping independently
- Using hand brakes
- Riding in an urban environment
Children and youths must be accompanied by an adult. Minimum age or height requirements may apply depending on the selected tour or bike type.
Please note that during the tour we do not enter museums or monuments due to time constraints. However, we will provide recommendations so you can visit them afterwards.
Helmets & Safety
Helmets are available free of charge.
In Spain:
- Helmets are mandatory for riders under 16 years old
- Helmets are optional for adults in many city areas, but strongly recommended
All participants must follow guide instructions and local traffic regulations. Bravo Bike reserves the right to refuse participation if safety may be compromised.
Weather Policy
In the case of severe weather, safety risks or operational circumstances beyond our control, we may offer: a full or partial refund, depending on circumstances, an alternative date, credit for future use.
Tour Cancellation Policy
- Cancellations made at least 24 hours before the tour start time: full refund (minus booking fees if applicable)
- Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the tour: no refund
- No-shows: full charge applies
All cancellations and changes must be explicitly confirmed by Bravo Bike. Unconfirmed messages or unreceived emails are not valid.

BIKE RENTALS
This section applies to all bike rentals and accessories hired from Bravo Bike Madrid.
Rental Requirements
To rent a bike, we require: Valid photo ID or passport Security, deposit where applicable, acceptance of these rental terms.
Security Deposit
A refundable deposit may be required depending on the bicycle type and rental duration. Deposits may be requested in a refundable cash deposit starting from €50 per bike (depending on the type of bike).
The security deposit will be returned once the bike and all accessories are returned in the same condition as delivered: clean, complete and properly assembled, allowing for normal wear and tear.
Any damage, missing parts, loss or theft may result in repair or replacement charges, which may be deducted from the deposit or charged to the customer’s credit card where applicable.
Replacement parts must be of equivalent quality. Failure to return the bike or accessories in acceptable condition may result in partial or full loss of the deposit.
Bicycles are not insured against theft.
What’s Included
Unless otherwise stated, rentals include:
- Bike lock
- Helmet (on request)
- Bottle of water
- Repair kit, pump, and spare tube
Some accessories may carry an additional charge.
Requirements
Please bring a valid photo ID.
All youths must be accompanied by an adult.
Rental Cancellation Policy
- More than 24 hours before rental start: full refund
- Less than 24 hours before start: 50% refund
- No-show or no contact: no refund
Cancellations must be made by phone or email and confirmed by us to be valid. All cancellations and changes must be explicitly confirmed by Bravo Bike. Unconfirmed messages or unreceived emails are not valid.
Liability
Cycling involves inherent physical and traffic-related risks.
By participating, customers confirm they are fit to take part and accept responsibility for riding within their own ability.
Bravo Bike shall not be responsible for indirect losses, missed connections, personal belongings or circumstances beyond our reasonable control, except where liability cannot be excluded under applicable law.
Additional Rent Services
We can deliver rental bikes anywhere in mainland Spain (e.g. Camino de Santiago hotels). Please contact us for details at info@bravobike.com.
Final Legal Information
Bravo Bike is a licensed travel agency in Spain (CICMA 1200). We have claim sheets at your disposal.
Privacy
Personal information provided during booking will only be used for reservation management, customer service and legal obligations, in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Spain.
Any disputes shall be subject to the competent courts of Madrid, unless otherwise required by consumer law.
