All tours include a bike rental with a handlebar bag for personal items and a helmet (optional for adults and mandatory for children under 16). You’ll be accompanied by a bilingual guide (English & Spanish) who will lead the experience and take photos of you along the way with your own camera. Youth participants are welcome and must be accompanied by an adult.

Starting near Plaza de España, the route follows carefully selected streets and cycling paths that allow you to move comfortably through the city while avoiding heavy traffic whenever possible.
As you ride, you’ll pass by some of Madrid’s most famous sights, including the Royal Palace, the elegant Retiro Park and the historic Alcalá Gate. The experience goes beyond the main attractions, leading you into the historic centre, where narrow streets, lively squares and local neighbourhoods reveal the true character of the city.
Throughout the tour, your guide will share stories, history and insights that help you understand Madrid beyond what you see, while regular stops give you time to take photos and enjoy the atmosphere. Did you know Madrid is the greenest capital in Europe? This bike tour reveals a completely different side of Madrid, focused on its green spaces, river landscapes and quiet cycling paths, away from busy traffic and completely outside the city centre.
You’ll explore Parque del Oeste, follow the Manzanares River, and ride into Casa de Campo, one of the largest public parks in the world. Along the way, your guide will share stories about the history of these areas, from their origins as royal hunting grounds to their role during the Spanish Civil War.
The route also includes cultural highlights such as the resting place of the Spanish artist Goya and an impressive church with ceilings painted by him. It’s a safe, easy and enjoyable experience, especially designed for families with younger kids, as it avoids the city centre and main roads entirely.

This E-Bike Madrid Experience is a complete journey through the city, combining its most iconic landmarks with its green spaces and river landscapes in one continuous route. These include passing through the district associated with the reign of the Habsburg dynasty, the Royal Palace and Cathedral, as well as the Plaza Mayor, which we reach by an “off-the-beaten-track” route.
We then wind our way through the literary district, passing by the imposing town hall and onwards up to the splendid Retiro Park. We proceed past the historic Atocha Railway station, pausing briefly at the Prado and Thyssen Museums as well as the Reina Sofia Gallery for contemporary art. There follows a gentle downhill ride towards the river Manzanares to reach Madrid’s erstwhile abattoir complex, the “Matadero”, now reconstituted as a cultural and performing arts center.
Following dedicated cycling lanes, we cross over the historic Toledo and Segovia bridges to reach the spectacular entrance to Madrid’s vast public parklands known as the ”Casa de Campo” – until 1931, the royal hunting grounds.
The return route takes us through the breathtakingly beautiful grounds of the Parque del Oeste (West Park), where we stop to admire Madrid’s oldest monument, the Debod Temple, originating from Egypt’s Asswan Dam project. Here, there is also a final magnificent view to the west of the City with the Sierra Guadarrama mountain range way in the distance. The tour ends at Bravo Bike’s premises, only two blocks away.
